Movies based on Video Games?

I recently found a blog that lists the different video game adapted movies that are in the making. I'm not sure if these will be good though, since these kinds of movies have had a history of destroying the game itself.

It's pretty hard to assimilate video game characters into movies, unless of course, they use CG. I guess it's due to the fact that the actors they get to play a character looks anything but the character (with the exception of Angelina Jolie in Tomb Raider). Plus, the plot of the movies somehow manage to destroy the fans' image of their favorite video games. I dunno, but almost all of the video game adapted movies suck IMO. What do you guys think?
